About Lindsay

I began working in corporate wellness holding lunch hour yoga sessions in 2010, and started working in mental health while a graduate student in 2011.  As a graduate student, I interned with Orange County Health Care Agency's Clinical Evaluation & Guidance Unit, working with traumatized youth in shelter & foster care settings. I went on to gain further experience in community mental health while working in school-based environments with The Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove. I completed my Marriage & Family Therapy licensure hours with The Open Door Center in Santa Ana, working with diverse clientele including adult survivors of child abuse and complex mental health conditions. Life events took me to the San Fransisco Bay Area where I worked for a group therapy practice, Blue Humming, and then eventually went into private practice working with complex trauma clients within San Mateo County.

As no two clients are the same, my treatment methods are varied and tailored to the individual needs of my clients, providing modalities which personally resonate with them. Being a practicing Yogini since the age of 18, and incorporating principles of wellness & spirituality into my own life from a young age, in order to cope with a mysterious chronic pain condition, I've learned that the mind and body cannot be separated, and that healing ultimately comes from within. I help facilitate the healing process by assisting my clients in finding their "true north"- their innate wisdom,  and healing capabilities. I closely align with this aspect of each client throughout the course of treatment.
